Thanks for writing this — it reminded me so much of why I went freelance! I was an in-house copywriter and then marketing manager at an agency and ended up being let go because I just couldn’t churn out a draft in an open office with 12 other people talking around me. I couldn’t stand the thought of winding up in another setting like that one where I couldn’t think and create, so I started working for myself and never looked back.
